Allu Arjun’s performance in Pushpa 2: The Rule, although widely discussed, has faced criticism from a section of the audience.
However, alongside the movie’s controversy, Allu Arjun is also dealing with a significant legal issue. During the Pushpa 2 premiere, a tragic stampede occurred as fans rushed to see the actor, leading to an investigation by the Hyderabad police.
A woman lost her life in the chaos, and her son sustained severe injuries and is currently hospitalized. This unfortunate event has overshadowed the film’s release, with Allu Arjun being detained on December 13, 2024, and later released on temporary bail.
According to police officials, Allu Arjun was requested to exit the theater on December 4, but he allegedly refused. This refusal is said to have contributed to the fatal stampede that followed shortly after the tragic incident. Furthermore, it has been reported that his staff failed to inform the actor about the escalating situation, even though it was becoming increasingly chaotic. As the investigation progresses, the police are preparing to use video evidence to support their case.
On the other hand film industry is looking forward to meet Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy on 26th of December.
