I still remember the first love letter you wrote to me.. dated 23rd January 2001.. at the auditorium in New Delhi where we were attending a cultural competition between our country’s directorates.. realised I never returned you one with a response.. so here I try..

Dear Nikku..

Today.. I want to thank you for not only keeping me together all these years but also for the endless sacrifices that you have made.. for being the pillar that holds our temple of love intact no matter what the meanness thrown at you by some amateurs for letting me be..

As now we are growing wise together.. I sometimes wonder how you put up with me.. then I remember, I put up with you too! So we are kind of even 😆 Here’s reminding you that you are the only one I want to annoy the rest of our life..

I know we are not a perfect couple.. We are stupid together.. we are weird together.. we are unreasonable with each other.. sometimes we can’t stand each other.. but still.. here we are.. taking turns to be strong for each other..

Thank you for allowing our marriage to be like dating going too far
